One to watch: Wax Melting Kit - Durables

Our Wax Melting Kit comes with everything you need to melt up to 2 pounds of wax at a time via the double boiling method. As long as an appropriate water level is maintained, this method prevents the wax from reaching dangerously high temperatures. Most waxes have a flash point of about 400° F, at which point the wax can catch on fire. But when double boiling, the wax never gets above about 208° F, which is well within the safe zone. All items in the kit are reusable. Wax Melting Kit includes: 1 little melting pot (a smaller version than the handled pot shown here), one 6 qt. steamer pot, 1 thermometer, and 1 box of wooden stir sticks (longer and thinner than those shown in the photo).
